SteelEdge Cutlery Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005 in Jieyang, Guangdong — a city with deep roots in China's metalworking tradition. What began as a modest workshop producing stainless steel tableware has grown into a fully vertically integrated manufacturing facility spanning 35,000 m², employing over 500 skilled workers and shipping to more than 60 countries every year.

From the beginning, our focus has been on owning the entire production chain — raw material sourcing, precision stamping, multi-stage polishing, laser engraving and quality control — all conducted under one roof. This vertical integration is what allows us to guarantee consistent quality at factory-direct prices, shipment after shipment.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for cutlery wholesale?

Standard MOQ is 500 sets for catalogue items and 1,000 sets for OEM/custom designs. For trial orders we can discuss reduced quantities at a small setup surcharge. Contact our sales team to discuss your specific requirements.

How long does production and shipping take?

Catalogue orders: 20–30 days production + 25–35 days sea freight to Europe/USA. OEM orders with new tooling: 45–60 days production. Air freight available for urgent orders. A confirmed timeline is provided at order confirmation.

Is your cutlery certified for food contact in the EU and USA?

Yes. Our flatware complies with EU LFGB (§ 30/31), REACH and US FDA 21 CFR food-contact standards. Certificates of compliance, material test reports and migration test results are provided with every shipment.

Can you engrave our logo or brand name on the cutlery?

Absolutely. We offer laser engraving, etching and stamping for logos, monograms and text on handles and blade spines. Supply artwork in vector format (AI, EPS or SVG). One-time setup costs are offset against your order value.

What payment terms do you accept?

Standard terms: 30% T/T deposit at order placement, 70% balance before shipment. For established clients, net-30 open account after two successful transactions. L/C at sight accepted for larger orders.

What is the difference between 18/10 and 18/0 stainless steel?

18/10 contains 10% nickel, giving superior corrosion resistance, a brighter finish and longer durability — ideal for fine dining and hospitality. 18/0 (no nickel) is magnetic, more affordable and food-safe, popular for catering and retail value lines.

Can I visit your factory before placing an order?

Yes, factory visits are welcome. Our facility is in Jieyang, Guangdong Province — approximately 3 hours from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. We arrange airport transfers and a guided factory tour. Virtual video tours available on request.
